RJS @ ITC Accra Ghana Nov 2007.pdf		On 17th-19th November 2007, Richard attended an International Trade Centre (ITC – a joint UNCTAD/WTO venture) conference “Bridges Across Borders” held in Accra, Ghana, where delegates from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa explored the potential to develop an African presence in the global outsourcing & offshoring markets for IT and Financial Services. He had been invited to make a presentation on ‘Demand side requirements for outsourcing – a practical analysis’.

He made the opening Keynote presentation on the first day on the topic of "A New Professionalism in delivering the Outsourcing Offer".
DK-UK-BD Collaboration.ppt		On the 13th February 2006 Richard chaired an invited meeting at Intellect’s offices on the topic of: “The Danish/Bangladesh SME Offshore Initiative”. The challenge for the evening was “Why were 13 Danish IT companies at Bangladesh's SOFTEXPO 2005? And why might the explanation be relevant to the UK ICT SME sector?” The guest speaker was Amarnath Reddy, of the Danish Embassy in Dhaka.
Dr Richard Sykes at SoftExpo 2005.pdf		On the 27th-29th November 2005 Richard attended SoftExpo2005 in Dhaka, Bangladesh at the invitation of BASIS, the Bangladesh IT Industry association. He led a workshop on the business development of ‘offshoring’, and was keynote speaker at a seminar of senior business and government leadership on the development of the Bangladesh positioning in the international ‘offshoring’ marketplace.

He spoke on the issue of "Understanding Outsourcing Vendor Positioning for Advantage", detailing the radical change in progress within the outsourcing vendor community, and defining the ways that the well informed buyer could 'position for success.'

He talked on : "The Future of Outsourcing - Drivers for Change in the Vendor Community", detailing the radical change in progress within the outsourcing vendor community, and defining the competitive parameters necessary for survival and success.
